What is the difference between a Stage 1 and a Stage 2 tuning file?
A Stage 1 file is written for a vehicle with all standard hardware in place. A Stage 2 file is written for a vehicle with hardware changes such as an upgraded intake, exhaust or intercooler, and the calibration is adjusted to those parts.
What do you need from the workshop to write the file?
We need the original ECU read, plus make, model, year, engine code, gearbox type and the tool you read the vehicle with. Tell us about any hardware changes and what the customer wants from the result.
How long does a tuning file take?
Standard files are normally delivered within 15 to 25 minutes during office hours. Rare ECUs or unusual requests can take longer, and we tell you before you wait.
Do you also write files for trucks, tractors and machines?
Yes. We write files for cars, vans, trucks, agricultural machines and marine engines, based on the original read from the vehicle.
What does a tuning file cost?
Files start at 28 EUR for dealers. The price depends on the vehicle and the type of file; you see the price before you confirm the order.
